To start earning rewards, you need to have at least 10 NOW tokens staked in the smart contract. Rewards are accumulated weekly through a staking pool and are automatically staked along with your original tokens. Each time you stake tokens, your staking balance locks and cannot be withdrawn for one week. For on-chain staking, tokens can be unstaked in one week after your last stake.

ChangeNOW Pro features a custodial staking model. Pro staking allows you to stake NOW tokens in the Ethereum (ERC-20) network, with passive rewards over time. You don’t need to take any action, just keep at least 10 NOW ERC-20 tokens in your Pro account balance. The reward calculation process is automated, so simply ensure you have NOW tokens in your Pro account balance. You can withdraw or transfer NOW tokens at any time.

If you stake NOW through ChangeNOW Pro, you can withdraw or transfer NOW tokens at any time. For on-chain staking, tokens can be unstaked in one week after your last stake.

Rewards are calculated using a compound interest scheme. This means that the reward is based on both the initial deposit and the interest earned in previous periods. No additional actions are required from users — simply start staking and watch the rewards grow!

All stakeholders receive their rewards on Wednesdays at 12:00 UTC. The process is entirely automated and fair!
